class=\"section1__wrap__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t\t遠藤「第1弾は、お陰様で予想以上の売れ行きを記録しました。1stロットはわずか数週間で完売してしまい、追加生産も瞬く間に売り切れる状況に。入手できなかったというお客様も多く、大変申し訳なく感じておりましたが、使うほどに味わいが増していくワキシングレザーの魅力をより多くの方に知っていただくことができました」\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e清本「ワキシングレザーは、HERGOPOCHが創業して以来ずっと大事に育ててきたオリジナル素材のうちのひとつです。ベジタブルタンニンでなめし、ムラのある色合いを出しているのが特徴で、厳選された良質の原皮でなければ実現できません。多くの関係者のこだわりが凝縮された、メイド・イン・ジャパンだからこそ生み出せたレザーなんです」\n\t\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cimg class=\"section1__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t遠藤「前回驚いたのが、女性のお客様からも大きな支持をいただいたことです。HERGOPOCHは男性をメインにしたバッグブランドであることから、ストラップも同様の傾向が現れるかと考えていたところ、売れ行きの男女比はほぼ同数でした」\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e清本「確かに私どもの顧客のほとんどは男性ですが、シンプルでクリーンなデザインを心がけておりますし、メンズのバッグブランドとしては珍しいほどカラーバリエーションを豊富に揃えています。今回、時計用ストラップという製品に落とし込まれたことで、潜在的な女性のお客様にもワキシングレザーのよさが伝えられたのかなと思います」\n\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003ca class=\"section3__wrap__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t\t\t松村「HERGOPOCHらしさの表現で思い至ったのがエルゴノミクスな機能性の表現です。HERGOPOCHの名前は、エルゴノミクス（人間工学）とエポック（創世、起点）というふたつの単語を合わせた造語から生まれているように、人間工学的に考慮された構造も特徴のひとつ。それを表現するため、いかに着用感を高められるかを研究し、その結果生まれたのがエンボス加工を施した防水レザーの裏地です。表面にエンボスを施すことで、屈曲性が増しており、しなやかにフィットさせられます」\n\t\t\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cimg class=\"section3__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t清本「この裏地のデザインソースは、HERGOPOCHのショルダーバッグにありました。最近は美しいデザインとともに使い勝手の良さを重視するお客様が増えており、全体にワキシングレザーを用いながら、体と接触する背面にメッシュ生地を当てたショルダーバッグを展開しています。使ううちに経年変化を楽しめるレザー素材と違い、メッシュ裏地に使われる化繊素材は純粋に劣化してしまうため、メンテナンスで張り替えることもできますが、時計のストラップの場合はそうもいきません。そこで、耐久性に優れ、劣化しにくい防水レザーを裏地に用いたのはいい選択だと思います」\n\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cimg class=\"section3__wrap__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t\t\t松村「今回も表地にワキシングレザーを起用しているのですが、この豊かな風合いをさらに強調するために、今回は盛り芯仕様にしました。内部に厚みのある芯材を盛り込み、表面にふくらみをもたらしています。これはハンドル部分など、HERGOPOCHの多くの製品でも見られるディテールがモチーフ。この表現によって優美な印象が高まるとともに、HERGOPOCHらしさも増し、厚みのある機械式モデルとも相性の良いストラップに仕上がりました」\n\t\t\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cimg class=\"section3__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t清本「我々の用語では肉盛と呼ばれるディテールで、これもモノづくりのこだわりのひとつです。実用性やコストだけを考えればやらなくてもいい工程といえるのですが、これを加えることで見た目にボリュームや重厚感が生まれ、魅力的なフォルムを生み出すことができるのです。こうした美意識はモノづくりに不可欠であり、見えない部分にもこだわってこそブランドとしての価値も増していくのだと思います」\n\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cdiv class=\"section3__wrap__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t\t\t松村「今回は、バーガンディーとグレージュの2色を追加しました。バーガンディーはKnotの秋冬の定番で、他のストラップでも毎回人気を博しているカラーです。もうひとつのグレージュは、近年のトレンドを踏まえての選択です。どちらも、今回のために別注させてもらったカラーで、ワキシングレザーによって味わい深い色合いを生み出せました」\n\t\t\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\t\t\u003cimg class=\"section3__text\"\u003e\n\t\t\t\t遠藤「Knotではさまざまなカラーを提案しておりますが、どうしてもコンサバティブなカラーに人気が集約してしまう傾向があります。しかし、コラボ第1弾では女性人気も高く、たとえば鮮やかなライトブルーはとてもチャレンジングなカラーでしたが、予想以上の売れ行きを記録しました。そうしたこともあり、今回もワキシングレザーだからこそ表現できる色合いに挑戦しました」\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e清本「ワキシングレザーには染料が使われており、経験に基づく職人の感覚に基づいて色を生み出していきます。今回、ご要望をいただいた新色2色はこれまでのコレクションにない色合いで、うまくいくか不安なところもあったのですが、結果とても魅力的なカラーを表現することができました。どちらも日本人の肌色になじみやすく、時計のストラップとして最適です」\n\t\t\t\u003c\/p\u003e\n\t\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\u003c\/div\u003e\n\t\u003cdiv
